Mujinga Kambundji is Switzerland’s most accomplished track and field athlete. A two-time European Champion in the 200 meters and both World and European Indoor Champion in the 60 meters, she has  reached the finals at multiple Olympic Games and World Championships, inspiring fans with her world-class talent, discipline and warmth. Her younger sister, Ditaji Kambundji, is following closely in her footsteps – making her mark as a rising star in hurdles.  She holds the U23 European record in the 100-meter hurdles and has already earned several international medals. Known for her infectious energy and positive outlook, Ditaji has become a role model both on and off the track.

Long before any formal partnership, the Kambundji sisters were already loyal users of Rausch. Mujinga, who has dry and sensitive skin, first discovered the brand when a pharmacist recommended the anti-dandruff shampoo to soothe her irritated scalp. It quickly became a trusted part of her routine – and soon, Ditaji’s as well. Over time, Rausch products found a permanent place in the Kambundji household, shared among  all four sisters, who often exchanged product tips and discoveries.

When the opportunity for a collaboration arose, it felt like a natural fit. “We’ve used Rausch for years, and the fact that it’s a family-owned Swiss company with natural, effective products makes the collaboration even more meaningful,” says Mujinga. Ditaji echoes the sentiment: “We really connect with the brand’s focus on natural ingredients, its philosophy and the feeling it promotes – being comfortable, healthy and confident in your own skin.”

This natural alignment makes Mujinga and Ditaji the ideal ambassadors for one of Rausch’s most anticipated product launches: the Repair Express Kur with Amaranth. As part of the brand’s established Repair line, this innovative express hair mask delivers intensive nourishment in just 60 seconds. Formulated with high concentrations of plant-based keratin, amaranth and chamomile blossom extracts and wheat germ oil, the lightweight treatment works quickly and effectively to repair and revitalize hair – restoring up to 60% of damaged structure while leaving it soft, smooth and glossy.

Perfect for an active lifestyle, the Repair Express Kur integrates seamlessly into any daily routine – whether it is after training or during a quick morning shower. With its fast application and effective results,  it is a game-changer for those who seek both performance and care from their products. “Our health is our foundation,” says Ditaji. “So even when it comes to our hair, we want products that are natural and good for us.”

With a 135-year tradition of blending herbal wisdom with scientific innovation, Rausch embodies these core values.  The Repair line – now enhanced with the new express treatment – represents that perfect balance: maximum care in minimal time, ideal for those who refuse to compromise on quality or results.

For the Kambundji sisters, hair is more than just aesthetics – it is an expression of confidence, preparation and identity. “Styling our hair before a competition is like a ritual,” says Ditaji. “It helps us feel confident and comfortable.” “The most important thing is feeling good,” Mujinga echoes. “A healthy scalp and hairstyle make me feel confident.” For the Kambundji sisters, their role as ambassadors  also carries a deeper message of representation. As women of color with naturally curly hair, they value the fact that Rausch embraces and promotes diversity in beauty. “We’re proud to represent a Swiss brand that embraces this,” says Ditaji. “In the end, everyone wants healthy hair – that’s something that connects us all.” “It’s great to show that Rausch products work for all different hair types,” adds Mujinga.

The bond between Mujinga and Ditaji is central to their story – and to their partnership with Rausch. Mujinga, a seasoned sprinter with a long list of international achievements, brings wisdom, focus and composure. Ditaji, the vibrant hurdle champion, adds fresh energy, ambition and drive. Together, they complement each other perfectly, inspiring a shared sense of purpose and possibility that resonates both on and off the track.

Despite the ten-year age difference between the sisters, Mujinga and Ditaji are  learning constantly from one another. Their shared advice: Be bold, be open and stay true to yourself. “Don’t be afraid to be different,” says Ditaji. “Being different is a strength. Go after your dreams – even if your path changes.” “Be open to what life brings,” adds Mujinga. “We grew up between two cultures and learned early on that unfamiliar doesn’t mean wrong. It often leads you to your most authentic self.”

Rausch views its partnership with the Kambundji sisters as more than a campaign – it is a celebration of authentic stories, shared values and the confidence that comes from natural self-care. “The Kambundji sisters perfectly embody what our brand stands for: naturalness, performance and well-being,” says Sandra Banholzer, CEO of Rausch. And as the brand continues to innovate – with products like the Repair Express Kur leading the way – it is clear Rausch is stepping confidently into the future. With Mujinga and Ditaji at the forefront, the message is clear: strength, beauty and balance are most powerful when they come naturally.
