A magical atmosphere swept through the city, marking the beginning of the Advent season. The name Lucy is inspired comes from the The Beatles song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Featuring 11,150 glass crystals and 23,100 LED lights, the Lucy lights illuminate the entire 1,050-meter stretch from Bahnhofplatz to Bürkliplatz. The lights are switched on at exactly 6 p.m. every year, on the third Thursday of November, just before the first Sunday of Advent. They enchant both young and old and will continue to shine until 6 January 2026.
Against this sparkling backdrop, SAFAR was welcomed to the Genesis Showroom on Bahnhofstrasse to celebrate the start of the holiday season in Zurich. The warm atmosphere inside beautifully mirrored the magical ambiance outside, complemented by the elegance of Kempinski Palace Engelberg. Guests were warmly received by representatives from Genesis and Kempinski Palace Engelberg, setting the tone for a festive evening. Benjamin Josi, Brand Experience Manager of Genesis Motors Switzerland, and Andreas Magnus, General Manager of Kempinski Palace Engelberg, shared insights into their vision and the story behind their collaboration, highlighting shared values of elegance, innovation and refined hospitality. Attendees were invited to participate in a raffle for a chance to win exclusive prizes. Miguel Massanet Schulder, Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing, presented a captivating overview of the hotel, giving us a deeper sense of its charm and character.
