Pizzeria Ristorante Molino has brought a taste of Italy to the heart of Baden with the opening of its newest restaurant on June 29, 2026. Located in the city’s pedestrian district at Badstrasse 16, the restaurant is Molino’s first location in the Canton of Aargau and the company’s 22nd restaurant overall. Designed to combine contemporary elegance with authentic Italian warmth, the new venue offers approximately 280 square meters of inviting dining space where guests can enjoy fresh homemade pasta, wood-fired pizzas and classic Italian hospitality.

Italian-Inspired Interior Design by Ushi Tamborriello
The Baden restaurant is designed by renowned interior designer Ushi Tamborriello, who has created the interiors for every Molino location. Her design blends modern Italian aesthetics with timeless comfort, featuring Murano glass pendant lights inspired by pasta shapes alongside iconic Horgen-Glarus chairs. Adding a distinctive artistic touch, the restaurant also highlights a woven tapestry by Swiss illustrator and mural artist Sarah Furrer, whose work is already familiar to guests from Molino Altstetten.

A New Dining Destination in the Heart of Baden
More than simply a restaurant, Molino Baden aims to become a vibrant meeting place where people can gather to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine and hospitality. The restaurant is managed by Vitor Nunes and his experienced team, who are dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences whether guests stop by for a business lunch, a relaxed dinner or an evening aperitivo with friends. Among the restaurant’s standout features are its centrally positioned wood-fired pizza oven and a spacious outdoor terrace with seating for 70 guests, offering an ideal setting to enjoy Baden’s lively city atmosphere.

Molino Launches Storie di Molino Magazine
Coinciding with the Baden opening, Pizzeria Ristorante Molino has introduced its first-ever in-house publication, Storie di Molino. Published twice a year in print, the magazine offers readers an inside look at the Molino family through the fictional characters Sophia and Nonna. It highlights the chefs, producers, artisans and stories behind the restaurant’s ingredients and recipes while celebrating Italian culture, craftsmanship and hospitality. Rather than focusing solely on food, Storie di Molino explores the values and traditions that define the Molino brand, inviting readers to experience Italian lifestyle beyond the restaurant. The inaugural edition of Storie di Molino is now available free of charge at all Pizzeria Ristorante Molino locations, giving guests the opportunity to discover the stories, people and passion that make Molino one of Switzerland’s best-known Italian restaurant brands.
