Navyboot, the Swiss footwear label founded in 1991, returns with a new collection that draws on precisely this sensibility – revisiting its distinctive aesthetic while giving it a contemporary expression.
A Heritage Revisited
Founded in 1991 by Bruno Bencivenga, Navyboot established a distinctive identity within Swiss footwear. Among its defining signatures was the Navyboot Original, recognized for its refined silhouette and the fine contrasting line running along the sole – a subtle detail that became part of the brand’s visual language. The shoes found their way into stores across Switzerland and eventually expanded into the German market, building a loyal following along the way. Over time, however, Navyboot gradually receded from the spotlight. Its return now brings elements of that original character back into focus.
A Collection of Considered Essentials
The new collection comprises approximately 60 styles for women and men, complemented by eight women’s handbags. From elegant loafers and refined business shoes to contemporary sneakers, the collection explores the breadth of modern dressing while remaining grounded in Navyboot’s understated aesthetic. Classic silhouettes are reinterpreted through considered details and carefully selected materials, resulting in footwear designed to move harmoniously between occasions. The collection places emphasis on versatility, craftsmanship and enduring appeal.

Available exclusively at Ochsner Shoes from 26 August 2026, the collection marks a new chapter for both Navyboot and its Swiss retail partner. At a time when fashion is increasingly reconsidering notions of quality and discretion, Navyboot’s return feels particularly timely. Rather than looking to the past for nostalgia, the brand draws upon its heritage as a foundation for a contemporary collection.
