The concept of longevity is gaining widespread attention. The idea of living longer and healthier is increasingly in focus, not only in scientific research but also in everyday life. By considering various factors that influence longevity – such as lifestyle, environment and genetics – different measures can be taken to enhance overall well-being. From regular exercise and sufficient sleep to specialized skincare, maintaining health from the inside and out requires a holistic approach.
The Science Behind Longevity
A pivotal research paper, The Hallmarks of Aging (2013), by Carlos López-Otín, Maria A. Blasco, Linda Partridge, Manuel Serrano and Guido Kroemer, provided a significant framework for understanding the complex process of aging. Instead of viewing aging as a collection of unrelated factors, the study proposed a unified theory that identified nine hallmarks influencing aging. Over the past decade, research in this field has expanded, leading to the addition of three more hallmarks in the 2023 follow-up paper, Hallmarks of Aging: An Expanding Universe. The current 12 hallmarks of aging include: Genomic instability, Telomere attrition, Epigenetic alterations, Loss of proteostasis, Disabled macroautophagy, Deregulated nutrient-sensing, Mitochondrial dysfunction, Cellular senescence, Stem cell exhaustion, Altered intercellular communication, Chronic inflammation and Dysbiosis. They provide a deeper understanding of how we age and, more importantly, how we can potentially slow the process.
With this evolving research in mind, we present four longevity-focused brands and services that promote well-being by incorporating the latest scientific insights into everyday health and self-care.

By addressing root causes and implementing targeted, evidence-based strategies, the center helps individuals achieve longer, healthier lives. Additionally, the Longevity Center features an in-house art gallery, showcasing exhibitions from local and international artists, reinforcing art’s positive impact on our physical and mental well-being.
