MO HAQ – Editor
At a young age, Mo fled Afghanistan for the United States, where she grew up, and later lived in California. In 1996, she relocated to Switzerland, where she founded her language school, English Center Benglen, in 2008. The school offers language classes in English, German and French, as well as proofreading, copywriting, editorial, translation services and social events. Mo’s journey across cultures deeply aligns with SAFAR’s ethos of connecting perspectives. At her school, she has organized events in collaboration with SAFAR and plans to expand these initiatives, bringing cultural and intellectual conversations to students and the wider community. She has contributed her editorial, copywriting and proofreading skills to magazines, websites and marketing materials. Passionate about exploration and storytelling, Mo captures her experiences through writing and photography for SAFAR, sharing the richness of the world with readers. She also loves discovering new places and connecting with people, embracing all that nature has to offer.
